The More The Merrier
Group Learing is a form of cooperative learning. It aims to cater for individual differences, develop students' knowledge, generic skills (e.g. communication skills, collaborative skills, critical thinking skills) and attitudes.
Group projects can help students develop a host of skills that are increasingly important in the professional world - Two heads are better than one. Positive group experiences, moreover, have been shown to contribute to student learning, retention and overall school/college success. Properly structured, group projects can reinforce skills that are relevant to both group and individual work.
